Guernsey's contingent bring back all trophies from Southampton

The 28th of March 2009 saw Guernsey's Air Rifle Shooting Team win all trophies that were up for grabs at the Southampton Air Rifle Association's annual event. This year it was the turn of Southampton to host the competition where SARA contested against the Guernsey Air Rifle Association's team for the Herbert Bowl, the Lewis Simms Trophy and the Derek Humby Trophy.

Paul Mahy excelled in the individual events by winning the Lewis Simms and the Derek Humby Trophies.

The Guernsey team comprised John D Mechem, Paul Mahy, Andrea Guillou, Sue Kelly and Paul Guillou. Jason Amy also traveled as the reserve shooter.
